PAX Corporate Finance has organised the new fundraising of NOVASYS.
NOVASYS is an established player in the geocentric applications sector. The company offers internet and mobile products and solutions in the fields of location-based information, Geo-location and mapping. The company’s customers include major Swiss and European accounts, including telecom operators, large internet portals and fleet management and support services. The company has offices in Lausanne, Bern, Zurich and Paris.
NOVASYS is already supported by two investment funds, Jade Investissement and Macofi International. The company has experienced sustained growth for several years. In order to strengthen its market position, NOVASYS called on PAX Corporate Finance to organise a new round of financing from Swiss investment funds and family offices.
In December 2009, this fundraising enabled NOVASYS to acquire the French company Tridoo-onYourmap, a software publisher and market leader in solutions for the local search sector, recognised for its technological know-how and the performance of its services. Its solutions allow users to access hyper-local information very simply from their website or mobile phone.
NOVASYS is therefore clearly positioned today as a market consolidator capable of bringing together companies in the Geo-location solutions sector on a European scale.
