Vuelto Solar, a company specialising in the design and installation of photovoltaic roofs for agricultural and industrial buildings, has announced the acquisition of Energeos, a French company specialising in the study, design and installation of photovoltaic panels for individuals. This transaction allows Vuelto Solar to complete its offer on the photovoltaic market and to extend its national coverage.
Founded in 2004 by Emmanuel Lagana, Energeos offers turnkey solar photovoltaic solutions for private individuals and provides a complete and continuous service from the design to the maintenance of its installations. The company, based in Marcq en Baroeul in northern France, had a turnover of €7.9 million in 2009.
Vuelto solar, which was previously called Eco Energy, is based in Nantes and was founded in 2007 by Eric Lecoq. The company quickly turned its attention to photovoltaic installations for agricultural buildings. In 2008, Philippe Legorjus, a regional entrepreneur and investor, joined forces with Eric Lecoq to develop the company on a national scale. 3 subsidiaries have since been created in the South and Centre of France as well as in Corsica. Vuelto Solar’s activity generated a turnover of €6 million in 2009 and should reach €30 million in 2010.
With the acquisition of Energeos, Vuelto solar is broadening its skills by integrating an offer for private individuals and extending its national coverage by establishing itself in the Nord-Pas de Calais region, a region for which it benefits from Energeos’ strong knowledge of the market and the regional economic environment.
